7th June 2017

3 runners at Kempton.

Sand Shoe makes her debut on a racecourse. She is from a family we know well. Thistle Bird, McCreery and Old Guard are siblings that stand out. Thistle Bird took a few years to become her brilliant self and Sand Shoe has showed signs of immaturity. She is ready to start and will improve for the outing.

Ply

Ply returns to his favoured surface and a level track for him. He ran a nice race on the all weather on debut, before not loving the bends of Windsor, and nor the soft ground at Newbury. Today is a strong race as these types of handicaps have been all year. There aren’t enough of them, and therefore the field sizes are strong. Hopefully he can run a good race and be in the shake up.

Clowance One

Clowance One has been off the track since November 2015 and looks to get started tonight. He seems in good form and is pretty fit, but this is obviously a big ask on his comeback. Some of his form is fair and he can win off this mark.
