14th June 2017

After two seconds yesterday and a 4th it would be nice to get a winner today.

Zefferino runs at Haydock over a mile for the first time. He won his maiden last time over 7f, and was staying on well at the end of the race. He has a long stride, should get a good pace and the flat track should suit. It is a very competitive race, as all these 3yo handicaps have been this year.

At Kempton Cat Silver has been handed another poor draw. Its not the track for them.  There is some pace in the race and its an apprentice race, where they tend to go a stride too quick which may aid.

Petitioner ran very green at Wolverhampton on debut, and has been given a bit of time, and seems to be in good form. Its a deep race for the time of year but hopefully he will improve for his first start.

Cribbs causeway is stepped up in trip and will stay further in time. She needs to jump from the stalls better than the last twice, especially from a poor draw, and with a bend not far from where they jump.  If she can do that she can feature.
