It was great to see Cribbs Causeway complete her hat trick yesterday at Yarmouth

Cribbs Causeway has been a revelation in her last 3 runs. She has really pulled herself together since her win at Kempton 17 days ago. It didn’t all go to plan yesterday in that she was a little slow from the gate but it didn’t matter as she travelled like much the best horse and won comfortably in the end. She was 5lbs well in with her handicap mark yesterday, and therefore I don’t expect her mark to move dramatically on Tuesday.

That takes us to 33 winners for the year, which we achieved on the 3rd of September last year. It’s been a great start and long may it continue. Everyone is working extremely hard here and are getting the just rewards.

Today Second Step runs at Newmarket in the Fred Archer. We had him declared in the Hardwicke but were a little concerned by the very quick ground. Today it may be easier than he has faced but we hope he handles it and has a chance of another victory.
