Distant is our sole runner after Cat Silver’s striking win on Monday.

Distant broke her maiden at Chelmsford during Ascot over 10 furlongs. Today she steps up to 1m 3f which will definitely suit her. The handicapper has gone in on the cautious side, with a 79, especially given Canterbury Quad, who he based that mark on has been tailed off and dropped since then. She will improve for what she did last time, and hopefully she can progress on the racecourse, but she will face strong opposition from Tom’s Rocks and Rake’s Progress.
