31st July 2017

Two runners today at Windsor.

We are told the ground is good to soft, which seems amazing given what the ground was like at Newbury, Ascot and Salisbury, and given that there has been a lot of rain this weekend. We will send both the runners and hope that they are correct in saying it’s not that bad.

Dream Prospect was slightly disappointing last time in what turned out to be fair race. He may not have loved the undulations that day and was a fraction keen over 6f. Today we are back to 5f, and although the ground is less than ideal for him it is a weaker race than last time.

Usher makes his debut in a competitive race on ground that he probably won’t love. We have been waiting to run him and the weather looks very mixed for a while and so we will look to try and run him this evening.
