His dam was a high class race mare winning five races including the Criterium de Saint-Cloud (Group 1). A colt with an impressive pedigree, he started to show the ability we always thought he had when boltting up on debut in a valauble handicap at Newbury. He produced a dazzling display at Royal Ascot to win the Tercentenary G3. Beaten 4 lengths on soft at York in a bizarrely run Juddmonte International, where he sat a long way out of his ground, he retruned to the winners enclosure in the G2 Joel Stakes at Newmarket over a mile. The Breeders Cup did not work out, not aided by a track in very poor condition, and the widest stall on a turning track. He has wintered very well, is a more mature horse and we will be looking at all the big 1m 2f races, with the Prince of Wales at Ascot the most obvious early season aim. (February 2016)
