Casimiro makes his debut at Lingfield this evening after 2 winners on Monday.
It was very pleasing to see Time Chaser win on debut at Kempton, to further enhance a family we have a liking for! Mr Khalid defied a long layoff to get his head in front at Windsor, under a good ride from Kieran. He has had a few problems in the past and its always nice to see them retain their ability.
Casimiro
Casimiro took a bit of time to come to hand last year, but is ready to make his first start now. He comes from a family with a bit of stamina in it, via the likes of Moonstone, Honolulu, Truly Special and L’Ancresse, and he is by Casamento who won the Racing Post Trophy at 2. Therefore, he may stay further in time but seems to have a bit of speed to him. Having not done a lot of work last year he is likely to be green today in what will be a tight group of 14 horses, running around tight bends. A different test to the open space of Newbury and Newmarket that we saw last week.
