We have three runners today between Lingfield and Kempton.
Copperopolis and Dexterous run in the first at Kempton over a mile. Copperopolis has shown very little in his life, and has his third start, with cheek pieces on for the first time. He has been so green on both occasions, that he has missed the break, and never really got in to it. I am hoping that he can jump better and get in amongst them.
Dexterous ran a nice race on debut at Wolverhampton 16 days ago to be sixth, beaten 6 lengths by a nice winner. She will come on mentally for that but is a big filly and will be at her best next year over further.
The race is very strong for this time of the year as these big Newmarket yards unleash their back end two year olds.
Tides Reach
Tides Reach runs at Lingfield over a mile again, against older horses, including some colts, due to the lack of opportunities. This will probably be her last run before she retires to Oakgrove Stud. Last time out she was beaten by Semaral who takes her on today, but it wasn’t run to suit Tides Reach as they went very slow and sprinted. Hopefully she can obtain a more prominent position in the field.
