3 runners today at Newbury, where the ground should be beautiful.

Sober Up makes her debut. She did very little last year and I expect that she will be very green in a large field. It will be good to get her on a good track and on good ground.

Clowance One is the first son of Clowance who we trained, and had a great record at Newbury having broken her maiden there, won the oaks trial and returning for St Simon Stakes later in her career. He is by Oasis Dream, but I think he has taken more of her stamina than his speed. He is likely to be pretty green at the races but I expect him to run well. There are a couple in the race with solid form, who have run well at Newbury before.

Mountain Rescue steps up in trip and on to a more galloping track. He won over 6f last year, but he is bred to stay further, and I hope he can run well in what is a ridiculously competitive handicap.
