Al Kazeem is a Group 1 winner again. As you can imagine we are delighted that he was able to run such a brilliant race, and to get him to win at that level is hugely rewarding. He travelled with his usual gusto, didn't have a lot of room, but forced his way through it and was then just doing enough. He is a credit to John Deer, his breeder, all those who brought him up on the stud, and everyone at Beckhampton who has helped in his career. He is a special horse and he gives us all so much joy. At this stage, the Prince Of Wales at Royal Ascot looks like an obvious next step, but we will monitor his wellbeing in the lead up to it.
