Temptress makes her return to the track after an astonishing run in the Hunt Cup.
Temptress managed to switch sides, come from last to first, and have to squeeze through up the rail, before just being denided by a progressive horse, in GM Hopkins. It was a brilliant run from a filly in the Hunt Cup. Today is a different proposition. Firstly the ground, which with the help of 17mm of artificial water added on Wednesday and Thursday, along with the addition of 25mm of natural rain over the weekend I hope is not going to lead to the word soft in the going description come race time. She has won on good to soft, but we know how effective she is on quick ground. The filly herself is in tremendous nick, and I couldn't have been happier with the way she is training. There has been no overnight rain in the area but I hope a forecast of heavy rain in the area does not materalise.
