Ooty Hill and David Livingston head to the track.

Ooty Hill made his comeback off a long lay off at Newbury a couple of weeks back, and got very tired in the bottomless ground. I am keen to get him out again for his education with the view that he is going to be a lovely horse next year, given his sheer size and scope. He is still over his racing weight that he was in the spring and I hope that he can run on better than he did at Newbury.

David Livingston also returned off a layoff, but one that spanned a year and nine months. The ground was very soft and he travelled supremely well but was not subjected to a hard race to finish third. He looks very well and the handicapper dropped him 5lbs, which led to the possibility of an outing in a handicap before stepping back up in class in the future.
