Intermittent makes her seasonal comeback at Wolverhampton on Saturday. She ran two races of promise last year, in different circumstances. First time out it was very soft and the odds on favourite Exist went a blistering gallop and stopped 2 furlongs out. Intermittent came through to lead, but got collared in the last half furlong by a more experienced rival. At Lingfield they went slowly and the winner kicked from the front and won the race well. Lots of horses have come out of the race and won or been placed, even if not at the highest level, and the form has a solid look to it. She has wintered well and will carry more condition than she did last year, and at this time of the year you would hope that they are going to need the race so that they can progress through the year. There is some of form in the race but she must have a chance if she can show what she did last year.
