Three runners between Ascot and Brighton.
Captain Cat
Captain Cat has been a great servant to us. He has a great record on the all-weather, but has won two Group 3’s on the Turf. His preference is for a sounder surface and it may just be a bit loose for him at Ascot today, but there are very few alternatives.
Decorated Knight
Decorated Knight is new to the yard and came with some solid form. He needs to step up on what he achieved last year to make an impact at pattern level but he has the right profile. He has settled in well here and seems nice nature. He is a good mover and may stay 10f in time, and will be suited by fast ground.
Executor
Executor is a fast ground horse and will get that down at Brighton today, where we have a good record. Like all our horses this year, he will come on for the race, but hope he can make a bold showing.
