6th May 2016

Lots of racing today and we have three runners at different tracks.

Quick March

Quick March starts us off at Lingfield on the all weather. She has been dropped 2lbs for today and is in a lower class of race that she competed in last time. She got buffeted around at Doncaster when she was staying on ok, and hopefully she can obtain a better finishing position today.

Kummiya

Kummiya heads to Ascot for one of the more competitve races that you will see! There have been no alternatives for this type of horse for a while, and hence why there is a full field of unexposed horses. We ran Suffused in the race last year off 79, and she was only 4th and ended up a 100+ filly. It will be a race woth watching a couple of times. Kummiya was very green first time out and finished a long way behind in what has turned out to be a decent maiden, before he went to Lingfield and won nicely. He has done well over the winter and as a consequence, like most of ours this year he will need his first start.

Makzeem

Makzeem went to jump witht the others at Windsor last time out, and when he saw the others come out around him he froze, leading to him missing the break. Once that happens at Windsor you are fighting a losing battle, as they go slow around the bends and there is no overtaking point as it were. He stayed on ok towards the end. Hopefully he will know more today, but he is running in a hot maiden. The step up in trip will help.
