Decorated Knight set off on his long journey to Arlington Park this morning. They fly from France tomorrow and land Saturday evening in Chicago. He then has just under a week to prepare for the race Saturday 13th. He is in good form and will have the services of Jose Valdiva Jnr in the race, who is the top jockey at Arlington and obviously came to the UK for Wesley Ward this season. Tryster and Deauville look the dangers from this side of the Atlantic.
Zefferino
Zefferino makes his debut this evening at Newmarket. Being a Frankel, there will obviously be a lot of interest. He is a nice colt and we were delighted to receive him from Blue Diamond Stud. He is from a family we have seen a bit of, with the dam a half-sister to Spinning Queen, who was owned by Lady Rothschild after her racing career finished. Tonight will be about learning but if everything goes smoothly he should run a nice race.
Pure Vanity has had many, very minor issues since she ran at Lingfield in April. Today is more her trip and she may even stay further if she can relax well. It will be nice to see her back on the track. She looks very well and has some good form from last year.
