Future plans and news of Sfumato at Salisbury.

Time Test will not be running in the Juddmonte International at York next week. We weren’t totally happy with his work this morning. He is likely to be given a short break before any future plans are made.

The horses have been very healthy all year and are running great. We look forward to our other runners in the next week.

Fair Eva worked well this morning and heads for the Lowther at York. George Baker rode her and was very happy. She won well at Ascot, in a good time and the Lowther sits well in the calendar.

Imperial Aviator had a break after he ran in the French Derby, after jinking in the home straight. He is moving well and heads to the Great Voltigeur. It will be a tough race, as the programme book for 3yos like him is non-existent.

Quest for More will return to York for the Lonsdale Cup next Friday. Hopefully he will get proper quick ground and a good pace, which disappeared an hour before his run in the Goodwood Cup. He is in great form and 2 miles is his favoured trip.

Countermeasure will be entered in the Strensall Stakes over 1m 1f on the Friday of York. He is working nicely and will get to run under his own steam.

Decorated Knight has settled in very well at Arlington for the Million on Saturday. His regular work rider says he feels great, and he has not left any food since he arrived. All the tweets from the local journalists show him rolling on the grass, if he is not eating it, which is his little party trick.

We look forward to running Projection for Royal Ascot Racing Club at Newmarket on Saturday in the valuable 3yo Sprint handicap where he must have a great chance. He ran a brave race to be 5th in the consolation Stewards Cup at Goodwood, when drawn on the wrong side, and being interfered with 2 out. It would be nice to see Steady Pace run to knock a few out of the weights at the bottom with the lowest weight set to be 8 stone!

Sfumato makes his 3rd start at Salisbury today. He was slightly set alight leaving the stalls at Newbury, meaning George had to take him back in a slowly run race. Hopefully he can race at a more even tempo today and he will be seen to better effect.
