Rock Steady

Rock Steady takes a step up in trip to nearly 1m 4f. It will be interesting how his stamina copes as his pedigree isn’t one that suggests he will get this far, but his manner of racing makes us think he can, and if he does then he has a good chance. He has held his form better than the others in the race and runs very consistently every time.

Zefferino

Zefferino made an encouraging start when he made his debut at Newmarket a month ago. It was an odd race, where they went no pace and he just got caught out by the winner, who had the rail to run against. Today there are not many with experience and there may not be a lot of pace on again, which is not ideal as he has a good travelling speed. The favourite ran a nice race on debut, but can be tricky in the stalls.
