I bought Lot 17 a Sharmadal filly from the Breeze Up sales at Doncaster last week for £30,000. She is an attractive filly with plenty of scope who I hope will be running in the second half of the year. She was bought as a yearling for £57,000 but returned because she was a box walker. She is still a box walker but in my opinion, it should not affect her racing career as she seems to be a relaxed character and carries plenty of condition, it did in fact just make her much more affordable. Sharmadal has been a hugely successful stallion and her dam Foreplay (might be fun to name) was a winner at two and three and her first two foals are both winners. She has a good pedigree, was not too expensive and I hope to divide her into four shares, so if you are interested please get in touch. Ed Sackville of Sackville Donald bought her for me and he was very taken by her quality and how good a walker she is. Ed Sackville has been very successful with alot of his recent purchases.
I am planning on going to the Breeze Up sales, so there will be more horses for sale in the Spring.
