3 runners today at Salisbury

Aussie Breeze makes her first start for Simon Clarke. Her dam was a good stayer in France before trying her hand over obstacles in England. This filly is obviously bred to stay further in time, being by Australia but it will be nice to get her on the course for her first start. She is the type to develop over the winter and fill out.

Ned Mackay makes his second start at Salisbury having run on very heavy ground at Ffos Las. He actually coped quite well considering it was his debut and the winner looks to be a good horse and Craster ran well since. Today he will encounter much quicker ground which should be more suitable. Its a hot looking race as you would expect at this time of the year but he should run a better race.

Smokey Lane is set to encounter faster ground than ideal based on previous form but we will see how it is when we get there and get some feedback from the jockeys. He remains on the mark he had when he placed at Ffos las, which suggests he must have a chance if the ground is suitable.
