8 runners between Chelmsford and Kempton
Universal Command won very well in a lesser race at Wolverhampton and has not been missed by the handicapper. He can hopefully take a step forward but he will need to if he is to feature.
She’s Apples ran a nice race at Kempton on debut, running green and finishing well. Today there are some interesting newcomers and others with some ok form but hopefully she can take a step forward and feature.
Blowing Dixie missed the kick badly at Wolverhampton and was never in the race. Today he should know more which should allow him to show a little more.
Midport runs in the second division of the race. It looks to be quite a hot contest, but he ran very green last time and should show marked improvement.
We run three in the 1m novice.
Aussie Breeze has not shown a lot thus far and needs to up her game.
Ostrich makes his debut. He is by Phoenix Reach and a half to a couple that have stayed well. He will want further in time but is a good looking horse with a nice attitude.
Young Merlin is a rangy Camelot, who is incredibly athletic. He will definitely be a better horse next year and over further in time, but hopefully his natural ability can allow him to run another nice race.
True Destiny runs back quickly again as he is due to carry 2lbs extra the next time he runs. He obviously has good form and won well last week and assuming he is in the same form he should run well again. The main danger appears to be well found in the market is Houlton. He was put up by a tipping line this morning.
