A preview on today’s runners at Newbury and Newmarket

 In Beckhampton News

Today we have three runners spread between Newbury and Newmarket.

Our first runner of the day is an unraced daughter of Exceed and Excel called Excellent Magic. She is a big strong Filly that is the sister to Folkswood who has won from 7 furlongs to 1 mile 2f which included a Group 3 and Group 1 Placing. Excellent Magic runs at Newbury in the ‘Starlight Wishes Novice Stakes’ with Jason Watson taking the ride.

Our second runner of the day is Chop Chop at Newmarket in the ‘Racing TV Handicap’. A field of 13 go to post with the majority having had quite a few runs under their belts. Chop Chop has had just the three starts so far in her career and has an official rating of 60. We would like to think she can run well today having come on from her previous run. Adam McNamara takes the ride.

Our last runner of today is a home bred filly of D J Deer named Cambric. She runs at Newbury in the Rossdales Lambourn Veterinary Surgeons British EBF Maiden Stakes’. Having done very well over the winter she makes her first appearance back of the new season with Jason Watson taking the ride.
