A winning weekend for Beckhampton
It was a great day on Saturday as Jumbly obliterated the Radley Stakes field. Being a daughter of the much loved Thistle Bird, it was very important that she obtained black type at 2 and it sets her up nicely for her 3yo campaign.
Following on from that One Journey got her head back in front again a year on from when she broke her maiden on the same track. She won so easily that we now look to obtain some black type either in France or at Doncaster on the 6th November.
They followed on from Zain Nights who broke his maiden on Friday and gave Decorated Knight another new winner. He is bred to stay well and should progress nicely up in trip next year.
Our horses have arrived in Newmarket for the Tattersalls Horses In Training sale today and mainly sell on Tuesday through Barton Sales. It’s always very sad to sell horses from the yard, especially when they have won as many nice races as these lot have.
Boltway has progressed rapidly in winning his 3 races this year
Extra Elusive has been a star and a multiple stakes winner
Makram has been hugely progressive the last two years and heads to the sales on the up
Pleasant Man has great presence and goes to the sales on the back of another win
Louganini looked very impressive at Ascot earlier on in the year
Amir Kabir has been a star and is there on the back of his win at Bath
Lion Face has won twice this year and looks a progressive stayer
Barn Owl has improved rapidly in winning his 2 races this year
In The Breeze is a two time winner and ran a great race to be second this month
Without Revenge was 5th at Royal Ascot and won nicely at Newmarket earlier in the year
Big Boy Bobby has been so consistent in his winning and placing this year
Saligo Bay won nicely at Newbury this summer
King of Tsavo is full of scope and potential and is sold as a winner and a placed horse
Time Interval has been so consistent this year in winning and placing
Fozzie Bear has been a model of consistency and unlucky not to break his maiden
Next Second was 3rd in a nursery last time
Rikona made an encouraging debut at Newbury this weekend
Amjad was 6th on debut last week at Kempton
An exciting bunch of horses that we are sad to be losing.
