Another double to end the week

 In Beckhampton News

Last week started and ended well with a double on Tuesday and Saturday at Lingfield.

After True Destiny and Lumen got the job done on Tuesday it was Breathless Times and Red Impression making the headlines on Saturday.

Breathless Times was surprisingly relaxed when stepped up to 7f for the first time, so much so that he took a bit of waking up to just get up on the line. Adam was very strong on him and it was a fitting way to lose his claim, given Breathless has given him four wins this year. The extra distance gives him options and we will look to give him another run when a suitable race appears.

Red Impression made it look a bit easier, albeit in a much weaker race. It turned into a race against the clock, as the second went very hard. She broke the track record with a 7lbs penalty and Timeform have her up on 110p which wouldn’t be far away from the Champion 2yo filly. It goes without saying that she is a filly with a future.
