Blakeney Point and Projection head to York whilst Great Bear travels to Bath
Today we have three runners spread between York and Bath.
Our first runner of the day is Blakeney Point at York in the ‘Sky Bet Race To The Ebor Jorvik Handicap’. He won a listed race back in September as well as being a winner of multiple handicaps throughout his career. Today’s race boasts a competitive field of 18 but hopefully having had a run under his belt this season he should show further improvement. Jason Watson takes the ride.
Our second runner of the day is Projection who is also at York in the Group 2 ‘Duke Of York Clipper Logistics Stakes’. Owned by the Royal Ascot Racing Club he was a winner of the Group 3 Bengough Stakes at Ascot in October and today will be his first appearance of the new season. As to be expected in a Group 2 the race holds competitive entries but we hope to see a strong return from him. Jason Watson takes the ride.
Our last runner today is Great Bear at Bath in the ‘Brakes Group/EBF Novice Stakes’. He won on his racecourse debut in November and has just the one run so far this season where he finished 4th. He should have improved again from his last run and hopefully put in a bold show this evening. Adam McNamara takes the ride.
