Blue Mist heads to the Victoria Cup

 In Beckhampton News

Blue Mist is our only runner heading to Ascot for the ‘Tote Victoria Cup (Heritage Handicap)’. He has shown progressive form as a two and three year old and hopefully today he can start his campaign as a four year old in similar style. The field today holds 26 runners and as per you would expect them to split. Some of the better horses are drawn near him and it could well be the side to be on. He has been slightly dropped in trip from a 8 to 7 furlongs, and he should handle the ground better than most. It is just his first start with big plans for him later on in the season. Jason Watson takes the ride.

Both Qarasu and Imperium ran lovely races to be 3rd and 4th in maidens yesterday. Encouraging given they lacked fitness and the ground was very tough.
