Cribbs Causeway in the greatest AW race ever run
Cribbs Causeway has found herself in the greatest race ever run on the All Weather with Enable and Crystal Ocean both in there, but we are also delighted that she is in, as she has one horse to beat to claim good prize money and more valuable black type to top up her already impressive pedigree. She ran a blinder on her first start of the year and was in season on her second start. We think she is back in good form and must have a strong chance of placing in the best all weather race ever run.
Bercheny makes his first start in a handicap at Kempton, when he tackles a mile for the first time. He has a mixed pedigree, being by the sire of the moment Oasis Dream who is obviously more renowned for speedy horses, but his mother, Ferevia did run 12f and was by Motivator. If he can continue to relax well his speed in the finish will be very handy and he should run well.
Blue Mist runs at Thirsk back at a mile. The ground should be just on the soft side which should suit him, as we have been avoiding the quick ground all year. He ran a cracker last time to a nice Gosden horse and we expect him to come on for that. His form last year was very decent and if he handles the track and the trip up there he must have a good chance.
