Emerging from the Winter

Extra Elusive

It has been one of the more brutal winters for the staff, and just when it looked to be getting better this Beast from the East appeared.

Cheltenham is 2 weeks away, and that is something to be excited about. Not only is there top quality racing to watch, but also it means the flat season is merely 8 days away, with the Lincoln following on the 24th March.

With no entries for the Lincoln we are unlikely to have any runners at Doncaster and as per usual with the programme book there is not a lot of turf racing until the Craven Meeting on the 18th April and The Greenham on 21st and therefore most of the older horses will be ready at the back end of April as opposed to March.

Guild

The horses have been in good form and haven’t missed a day of exercise despite the weather and we are looking forward to running some exciting horses early on in the year.

We have now updated all the Horses In Training on the website, with pedigrees, and comments in the profiles. We endeavour to keep it as up to date as possible.
