Pleasant Man is our first runner today and runs at Goodwood in the ‘Unibet “15 To Go” Handicap’ for owners Brook Farm Bloodstock Ltd. Since being gelded in mid may he was a winner on his first start back at Salisbury over 1 mile 4 in a class 3 handicap. He then went to Ascot for a class 2 handicap over 1 mile 4 which is his most recent run, despite finishing 4th he was only beaten just over a length. Today he stays over the same trip and is back on soft ground. The race has a field of 13 runners and he has a draw of 1. Kieran Shoemark takes the ride.

Jumbly heads to Leicester to make her racecourse debut in the ‘ Longines Irish Champions Weekend EBF Restricted Maiden Fillies’ Stakes’ for owners Emmy Rothschild & Partner. Both her sire and dam are Group 1 winners and her dam Thistlebird was trained here at Beckhampton. Jumbly is Thistlebird’s fourth foal, her siblings Thorn, Bullfinch and Barn Owl have all won when in training here to. We look forward to watching her run today and learning a bit more about her. Time Interval also heads to Leicester and runs in the ‘Leicester Racecourse Live Stream On Racing TV Extra Handicap’ for owners P Inglett, S de Zoete & C Milln. Today he steps up in trip to 1 mile 2 furlongs from having previously run over 7 furlongs and a mile. The hood has been applied again today to try and help him to settle in the field of 7 runners. He has a draw of 5 with Trevor Whelan taking the ride.

Out From Under makes his debut at Sandown in the ‘Join Casumo Today EBF Novice Stakes’ for owners White Birch Farm & Fittocks Stud. He is a full brother to Kemari a three year old gelding in training with Charlie Appleby who won the Group 2 ‘Queens Vase’ at Royal Ascot this year. Lion Face is our final runner of the day and heads to Sandown to run in the ‘Casumo Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap’ for owner David Bannon. He was a winner at Leicester over 1 mile 4 on his run prior to last. He was then stepped up in trip on his previous run in which he didnt run as well although had cheekpieces applied. Today Blinkers have been applied which hopefully help him concentrate on the task in hand. The race has a field of 10 runners and he has been drawn 5. Richard Kingscote takes the ride.
