Five runners split between Catterick, Newbury & Wolverhampton

Saligo Bay heads to Catterick to run in the ‘Vickers.Bet Bet £10 Get £20 Handicap’ for owners Ballylinch Stud, P Inglett & N Jones. He has put in very solid performances since being stepped up in trip to 1 mile 4 including a win at Newbury of a Class 3 Handicap. Today he steps up in trip to 1 mile 6 for the first time which should hopefully suit him well. The race has a field of 6 runners and he has been drawn 5. Trevor Whelan takes the ride.

Sweet Summer travels to Newbury to make her racecourse debut in the ‘ Sir David Sieff EBF Novice Stakes (GBB Race) (Div II)’ for owners Chasemore Farm and Six Too Many. She is out of a Listed winning mare who is also a half sister to Cheveley Park stallion Twilight Son. She makes her debut in a field of 12 runners with a draw of 12. James Doyle takes the ride.

In The Breeze and Without Revenge both head to Newbury to run in the ‘Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Handicap’. In The Breeze is a course and distance winner and Without Revenge makes his first attempt at 1 mile 4 today having previously won over 1 mile and 1 mile 2. The race has a total of  11 runners, Tom Greatrex takes the ride on In The Breeze and Oisin Murphy takes the ride on Without Revenge.

Dreambird heads to Wolverhampton to run in the ‘Cazoo Search Drive Smile Handicap’ for owner S Stuckey. She went very close on her first attempt at 2 miles with only a short head between her and the winner. Today she steps back in trip to 1 mile 6 furlongs in a field of 4 runners. She has been drawn 4 with Thore Hammer Hansen taking the ride.
