Five runners to Kempton and one to Ripon

 In Beckhampton News

Today we send out six runners with five heading to Kempton and one heading to Ripon.

The first of the runners is Nadein and Jumby Breeze both running in the ‘Unibet Casino Deposit £10 Get £40 Bonus Novice Stakes’ at Kempton. Nadein who is owned by Mr Mohammed Jaber is making her racecourse debut in the field of 12 runners. She is a three-year-old filly by Golden Horn and out of Oud Metha a half sister to Dalma who is also in training here at Beckhampton and also a half sister to Sheikhzayedroad a Group 1 winner as well as multiple Group 2 winner. Jumby Breeze who is owned by Merry Fox Stud and also making her racecourse debut is a sister to 1m2f winner Hold Sway and half-sister to the stallion Charming Thought. Both horses are in good order and we look forward to learning a bit more about each of them today. Saffie Osborne takes the ride on Nadein and George Rooke takes the ride on Jumby Breeze.

Our third runner of the day is Annie’s Song at Kempton in the ‘Wise Betting At racingtv.com Maiden Fillies’ Stakes’ for owners Philip Newton and Elizabeth Railton. She was purchased for 38,000 euros as a foal by Jamie Railton at the Goffs November foal sale. Her dam Dutch Treaty is a full sister to Listed winner Exhort and a half sister to the 2020 Group 1 Commonwealth Cup Winner Golden Horde. The race has a field of 10 runners and Annie’s Song has been drawn 6. Richard Kingscote takes the ride.

Beheld is our fourth runner of the day and runs at Kempton in the ‘Unibet Extra Place Offers Every Day Novice Stakes (Div I)’ for owners Juddmonte. She was a winner on her debut last season as a two-year-old at Newbury and then finished 2nd on her latest appearance as a three-year-old in which she was extremely unlucky to be headed on the line. Today she runs in a field of 13 runners with a draw of 3 and makes her first appearance on the all-weather surface. She stays running over 7 furlongs and hopefully we will see another strong run from her today. William Buick takes the ride.

Time Interval is the last of our runners at Kempton for the day and runs in the ‘Unibet New Instant Roulette Handicap’ for owners P Inglett, S de Zoete & C Milln. He was a winner at Lingfield on the all-weather surface over 7 furlongs as a two-year-old. He was disappointing on his three-year-old debut on the turf over 7 furlongs but hopefully today we will see him back running another strong race. The race has 10 runners and he has been drawn 8. Tom Greatrex takes the ride as well as claiming 3lbs off his back.

The final runner of the day is Barn Owl at Ripon in the ‘Titanium Racing Club Novice Stakes’ for owner Nat Rothschild. The three-year-old colt by Frankel has had three runs to date in which he has put in some encouraging performances. Since his last appearance on the track, he has had wind surgery which hopefully today we will see has helped him. The race has a small field of 4 runners and he has been drawn 1. Kieran Shoemark takes the ride.
