Flag Flying makes a winning debut at Goodwood and 1 runner heads out today

 In Beckhampton News

Yesterday we sent out Flag Flying to Goodwood to make his racecourse debut in the ‘British European Breeders Fund EBF Novice Stakes’ for owners Juddmonte. He started his race off at the rear of the field settling nicely in behind the other runners. He started to make headway 3 furlongs from home and made headway to take up the lead a furlong from home. He won the race nicely under a strong ride from Derby winning jockey Richard Kingscote.

Today we send out Mr White Socks to Windsor to run in the ‘Royal Ascot On Sky Sports Racing Novice Stakes’ for owner Saeed Jaber. He has had just the one start so far in which he finished 9th over a mile at Southwell. Today he steps up in trip to a mile and 2 furlongs in a field of 15 runners with a draw of 16. Hopefully the extra 2 furlongs will be to his benefit and see him put in a promising performance. Trevor Whelan takes the ride.
