Four runners split between Doncaster and Newbury
Today we send out two runners to Doncaster and two runners to Newbury.
Zaman Jemil is our first runner of the day and runs in the ‘Cazoo EBF Maiden Stakes’ at Doncaster for owner Jaber Abdullah. He has had just the one career start over 6 furlongs so far which he should have hopefully improved from. The race today has a field of 16 runners and Zaman Jemil has been drawn 12. Harry Davies takes the ride as well as claiming 5lbs off his back.
Persian Royal also heads to Doncaster and runs in the ‘At The Races App Form Study Handicap’ for owner D J Deer. He has had 5 career starts so far which has included placing 3 times over 7 furlongs and a mile. Today he runs over a mile in a field of 8 runners with a draw of 6. Harry Davies takes the ride on him also as well as claiming his 5lbs.
Our third runner of the day is Chef De Partie who heads to Newbury to run in the ‘Pump Technology 30th Year Anniversary Handicap’ for owners Brook Farm Bloodstock. He finished 5th on his most recent start which was also his handicap debut and the form from that race has worked out well with the winner finishing 3rd behind Thesis when winning the ‘Britannia Stakes’ at Ascot. The race today has a field of 8 runners and he has been drawn 5. Richard Kingscote takes the ride.
Dancing Empress is our final runner of the day and heads to Newbury to run in the ‘Pegasus Pump Novice Stakes’ for owner Fishdance Ltd. She has had just the one career start so far which was over a mile and 2 furlongs at Sandown. She did show promise finishing 5th despite running rather keen in the early stages of the race. She should have improved from the run and hopefully settle better today. The race has a field of 9 runners and she has been drawn 7. Thomas Greatrex takes the ride.
