Valsad heads to Leicester to make his racecourse debut for owner Mr S Stuckey in the ‘ British Stallion Studs EBF Reference Point Novice Stakes’. The two year old Intello colt is out of a 1 mile 4 winning mare and is her first foal. Today Valsad starts his racing career off over a mile, the race has a field of 8 runners with 3 of them having previously been exposed to the racecourse. He is in good order and we look forward to learning a bit more about him today. Daniel Tudhope takes the ride.

In The Breeze also heads to Leicester and runs in the ‘Leicester Racecourse Ideal Self-Hire Wedding Venue Handicap’ for owners P Inglett, S de Zoete & C Milln. When stepped up in trip to 1 mile 4 on good ground at Newbury he won comfortably by over a length. On his most recent start which was on the all weather at Newcastle he was disappointing but hopefully that was just an off day for him and hopefully we will see him run another strong race today. The race has a field of 6 runners and he has been drawn 7. Kieran Shoemark takes the ride.

Quilted travels to Kempton for owners Juddmonte to run in the ‘Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Handicap’ looking to follow up on her recent win at Thirsk. Today she makes her handicap debut with a mark of 80 and has her first run on the all weather surface. Her dam Nimble Thimble was a winner on the all weather so hopefully Quilted will handle it too, there is nothing to suggest that she wouldn’t so hopefully we will see another strong performance from her today.

Fast Style is our last runner today and heads to Kempton to run in the ‘Unibet Nursery Handicap’ for owner Mohammed Jaber. He has had three career starts so far and today makes his handicap debut in a field of 11 runners. He has been drawn 10 with Richard Kingscote taking the ride. Cheekpieces have been applied today to try and help him concentrate on the task in hand.
