Four runners travel to Newmarket

Today we send out four runners to Newmarket

Acotango is our first runner of the day and makes his racecourse debut in the ‘Racing TV Profits Returned To Racing British EBF Novice Stakes’ for owners Dean, Gerber, Inglett and Partners. He is a two year old colt by Kodiac and out of a Helmet mare. The dam Chupalla was a winner over 5 furlongs on debut then went on to win over 7 furlongs.She is also a half sister to Dee Ex Bee a winner of  4 races including 2 Group 3 races. He also finished 2nd in the 2018 Derby. Acotango was purchased at the Tattersalls Book 2 sale by Amanda Skiffington for 160,000 GNS. The race today is very competetive with 8 runners in total and 4 of them unexposed and extremely well bred. He has been drawn 9 with Tom Greatrex taking the ride.

Seascape Girl runs in the ‘ Fillies’ Handicap’ for owners Clipper Logistics. She has had three career starts so far and showed good promise on her second start finishing 2nd at Kempton over 7 furlongs. Today she makes her handicap debut with a mark of 67 and has been dropped back in trip to 6 furlongs which hopefully will be to her liking. The race today has a field of 11 runners and she has been drawn 2. Tom Greatrex takes the ride.

Golden Sheen runs in the ‘Watch RacingTV With Free Trial Now British EBF Novice Stakes’ for owners Merry Fox Stud Limited. She is a three year old filly by Frankel who has had just the one career start so far whcih was towards the end of April this year. She made her debut over a mile and 2 and was a little disappointing. Today she is stepped back in trip to a mile in a field of 11 runners. Hopefully the step back to a mile will suit her better and hopefully see her run a nice race. Saffie Osborne takes the ride as well as claiming 3lbs off her back.

Out From Under is our final runner of the day and runs in the ‘Call Racing’s Support Line 24/7 08006300443 Handicap’ for owners White Birch Farm and Fittocks Stud. He has had 5 career starts so far which has included winning over 7 furlongs at Newmarket. He has also placed 2nd on two other occasions and third on his most recent start. Today he is back at Newmarket over 7 furlongs with a draw of 4. Harry Davies takes the ride as well as claiming 5lbs off his back.
