Infuse and She’s Apples head to Haydock

 In Beckhampton News

Today we have 2 runners heading to Haydock.

Our first runner on the card is Infuse in the ‘Gerry Lowe Memorial Fillies’ Novice Stakes’. She ran a very creditable race last time out at Haydock to finish 3rd in a competitive Fillies’ Novice Stakes. Last time she visited the track she experienced gale force winds and torrential rain. She is a good moving filly who should be happier back on a sound surface. She is very long striding, and the flat track at Haydock suits her well. She should be a bit sharper today than her previous run, but she gives off the impression at home that she will stay beyond a mile in time. The race today holds 10 runners with a couple of unexposed horses who look interesting.

Our second runner on the card Is the Bloomsbury Stud owned and bred She’s Apples in the ‘Join Racing TV Now Handicap’. Today will be her 5th start in her career but only her second start on the Turf. The race holds 9 runners all having had at least three runs prior to today. He disappointed us at Haydock, and we weren’t certain whether it was the ground or the combination of the ground and the undulations at Nottingham. We are hoping she can handle the quick ground on a flatter track.

Jason Watson takes the ride on both horses.
