 In Beckhampton News

Lion Face travelled to Leicester yesterday to run in the ‘British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Median Auction Stakes’ for owner Mr David Bannon. Despite getting slowly into a stride and racing at the back of the field,he stayed on well to win the race by a length under Kieran Shoemark

Our first runner of the day is Amir Kabir at Leicester in the ‘Leicester Students Handicap’ for owners Dr Jamal Ahmadzadeh & Mrs D Swinburn. He was disappointing on his last start which was at Windsor over 1 mile 2 furlongs on good to soft ground. He is back over the same trip today and on good ground. Hopefully he will be more himself today and fingers crossed for a better performance. Hollie Doyle takes the ride.

Our second runner of the day is Elevate at Lingfield in the ‘bet365 Novice Median Auction Stakes’ for owners Hugo Hunt Racing. She made her racecourse debut on the 19th of May over 7 furlongs and today steps up in trip to 1 mile 1 furlong. Hopefully the extra couple of furlongs will be more to her suiting today. Saffie Osborne takes the ride as well as claiming 5lbs off her back.
