Pilot Wings and Polish head to Salisbury

 In Beckhampton News

Pilot Wings took a big step forward at Newbury last time out when running well to be 6th in a competitive maiden. Some of the ones in front of him have run well again since, especially the winner. Pilot Wings is a big horse who will be better in time, but he should take another step forward today. Whether there is one or two too good for him today, we will find out.

Polish ran in a very hot race at Ascot on debut. The winner looks like the type to feature in the King Edward VII at Ascot, Corgi came out and won well in the week, Sharja Silk was a good second at Sandown and Soto Sizzler ran very promisingly at Goodwood on Friday when second. It was a very solid race and Polish ran green as they turned into the straight before staying on well. Today is less competitive but there are 3 or 4 with very solid form, similar or better to him. It will be interesting how much he improves from last time on a course that is not as galloping as he would like.
