Projection and Makzeem to the Leisure Stakes, Savaanah heads north
Projection made a pleasing comeback in the Abernant when he ran 3rd to Brando and Sir Dancealot, who have both franked the form in the Duke of York. He seems in great form, will appreciate the fast ground and should get the pace that he likes as there are a few front runners. Hopefully he can run well and get the win.
Makzeem ran disappointingly last time at Windsor but we think we know why and are hopeful of a better performance today. He has got a lot quicker at home and we think he can handle the drop back in trip. (Pictured)
Savaanah headed North to Redcar early this morning and runs over a mile in an Auction Maiden race. She had some good form last year, especially when she ran at Kempton in a decent calibre of race. Voyager Blue in in opposition and is a horse we know a bit about as he is a brother to Cribbs Causeway and we have watched him with interest. He has some good form in the book and has a tendency to over race but his last run can be ignored. Savaanah is in great form and we are looking forward to getting her out and she must have a good chance.
