Six runners travel to Salisbury

Roarin’ Success is our first runner of the day and runs in the ‘Byerley Stud British EBF Novice Stakes (GBB Race) (Div I)’ for owner Paul Inglett. She is a two year old filly by Roaring Lion a 4 times Group 1 winner as well as placing 3rd in the ‘Epsom Derby’. Her dam Random Success was a winner over 5 and 6 furlongs when in training here at Beckhampton. Today Roarin’ Success makes her racecourse debut in a field of 10 runner with a drawn of 9 over a mile. Finest Leader makes his racecourse debut in the ‘Radcliffe & Co British EBF Novice Stakes (GBB Race) (Div I)’ for owners P Inglett, A Bengough and Lady Tidbury. Finest Leader was purchased at the Tattersalls Book 1 sale for 85,000 GNS by Amanda Skifington. He is by Churchill and Out of a mare called Damselfly (By Power) who was Listed and Group 3 placed. Today he makes his debut over 7 furlongs in a field of 12 runners. He has been drawn 2 with Trevor Whelan taking the ride. We also look forward to learning more about him today.

Greek Order also makes his racecourse debut today but in the ‘Radcliffe & Co British EBF Novice Stakes (GBB Race) (Div II)’ for owners Juddmonte. He is a 2 year old colt by Kingman and out of an Empire Maker mare who was placed over 1 mile 2 and 1 mile 3 furlongs in France. Greek Order is a full brother to Sangarius who was a Listed and Group 3 winner as well as being Group 2 placed. Today Greek Order makes his debut in a field of 12 runners and has been drawn 7. Flag Flying is our fourth runner of the day and runs in the ‘British EBF / PKF Francis Clark Conditions Stakes (GBB Race)’ for owners Juddmonte. The 2 year old colt by Starspangledbanner won his debut race at Goodwood by 4 lengths. He was a little disappointing on his 2nd and most recent start in a Group 3 at Kempton. He didnt look to be himself from the start of the race but hopefully today will be back to himself and fingers crossed see a promising run from him. The race has a field of 6 runners and he has been drawn 1. Ryan Moore takes the ride.

Okeechobee runs in the ‘Radcliffe & Co Handicap’ for owners Juddmonte. He is a winner of 2 races from 3 starts and placed 2nd on his debut run. Today he makes his handicap debut on a mark of 92 and makes a step up into Class 2 company. His race today has a field of 4 runners and he has been drawn 3. He is an exciting horse to have at the yard and we look forward to watching how he handles the step up in class. Ryan Moore takes the ride.

La Pulga is our final runner of the day and runs in the ‘Weatherbys Stallion Book Handicap’ for owner Mohammed Jaber. He put in a promising run on his most recent start finishing 3rd out of 14 runners when stepped up in trip to 1 mile 4 furlongs. Today he steps up in trip again to 1 mile 6 furlongs for the first time which should hopeully suit him. The race has a field f 9 runners and blinkers have been applied.
