Tambourine Girl comes back with a win and two runners head out to Bath and Nottingham today.
Tambourine Girl travelled to Kempton yesterday for the ’32Red Casino / British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes’. Having had a break of 97 days from the racecourse she put in a very strong performance to take up the lead in the final furlong and hold on to win by a short head under Adam McNamara.
Today we have two runners heading out, with Skyman travelling to Nottingham and Cochise travelling to Bath.
The first runner today is Skyman in the ‘Kier Partnering With Pasic Handicap’ at Nottingham. On his last appearance he put in a very encouraging run to win the ‘Betway Live Casino Handicap’ at Sandown by just under 2 lengths. Today he has stepped up in class which will make the competition stronger but he should have improved again from his previous run and hope to see him run another strong race. Silvestre De Sousa takes the ride.
Our second runner today is Cochise at Bath in the ‘Bath Luxury Toilet Hire Handicap’. Since stepping up to 2 miles he has been showing more encouragement in his performances. He has been stepped up a further furlong today which should be to his liking. The race holds a total of 11 runners and he has been given a draw of 10. Thomas Greatrex takes the ride as well as taking 5 lbs off with his claim.
