Thesis heads to Royal Ascot

Today Thesis travels to Royal Ascot to run in the ‘Britannia Stakes (Heritage Handicap)’ for owners Juddmonte. Thesis has had 4 career starts so far over 7 furlongs and a mile. He finished 3rd on his racecourse debut over 7 furlongs at Sandown and has since gone on to place 2nd on the other 3 occasions. He finished 2nd at Newbury over a mile behind My Prospero who finished 3rd on Tuesday at Royal Ascot in the Group 1 ‘St James’s Palace Stakes’. Thesis is a half brother to Quadrilateral who was a Group 1 winner for the yard over a mile. Today’s race has a field of 30 runners and Thesis has been drawn 10.
