Three runners divided between Newbury and Haydock

Today we send out three runners between Newbury and Haydock.

Batal Dubai heads to Haydock to make his racecourse debut in the ‘British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes’ for owner Jaber Abdullah. He is a 2 year old colt by Profitable and out of a Harbour Watch mare, he is the second foal that the mare Sweet Sienna has produced with the first foal by Adaay being a Listed winner so far. Batal Dubai was purchased at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale 2022 by Rabbah Bloodstock for 62,000 GNS. Today he makes his debut in a field of 8 runners with a draw of 2, we look forward to learning more about him today and Trevor Whelan takes the ride.

Dancing Tango is our second runner of the day but the first to go at Newbury. She runs in the ‘UHY Ross Brooke Chartered Accountants Fillies’ Handicap’ for owners Fishdance Ltd. She has had three starts so far in which she has shown promise especially on her most recent two runs finishing 3rd on both occasions. Today she makes her handicap debut and steps up in to Class 2 company in a field of 6 runners with a draw of 2. She is also making a step up in trip today from having previously run over a mile and 2 today she runs over a mile and 5 furlongs. She has a mark of 82 going into the race today and Kieran Shoemark takes the ride.

Zain Nights is our final runner of the day and heads to Newbury to run in the ‘Quickmove Handicap’ for owner Asaad Al Banwan. He has had 5 career starts so far in which he was a winner at Newbury as a two year old over a mile. He has since placed 2nd twice over a mile and 3 and a mile and 4 furlongs with both of those races also being at Newbury. Today he is back over a mile and 4 furlongs in a field of 6 runners with a draw of 3. Cheekpieces have been applied and William Buick takes the ride.
