Three runners split between Doncaster, Lingfield and Chepstow

 In Beckhampton News

Today we send out three runners each in different directions.

Our first runner of the day is Thesis who runs at Doncaster in the ‘Cazoo Novice Stakes’ for owners Juddmonte. The Kingman half brother to Quadrilateral has had three starts so far in which he has shown great encouragement. He finished 3rd on debut at Sandown over 7 furlongs and then went on to finish 2nd on his two other starts over a mile. Today he is back over 7 furlongs in a field of 9 runners. He has been drawn 6 with Jamie Spencer taking the ride. A tounge strap has been applied and hopefully today we will see another strong run from him.

Ashky is our second runner of the day and travels to Lingfield for owner Mohammed Jaber to run in the ‘At The Races App Form Study Fillies’ Novice Stakes’. She made her debut at Newmarket at the start of April over 7 furlongs and put in a very encouraging performance. She then went on to Nottingham to run just over a mile and finished 5th. Today she is back over 7 furlongs in a field of 7 runners. She has been drawn 1 with Trevor Whelan taking the ride.

Our last runner of the day is Chancery Lane at Chepstow in the ‘Coral ‘Beaten-By-A-Length’ Free Bet Restricted Novice Stakes’ for his owner H M The Queen. He is a three year old gelding by Recorder out of a Dansili mare. His half brother West Newton was a winner for the yard when in training here at Beckhampton. Today Chancery Lane makes his debut in a field of 4 runners with a draw of 1 and Saffie Osborne taking the ride. We look forward to learning more about him and it would be great to get a winning debut for Her Majesty on her Platinum Jubilee weekend.
