Two runners between Chester and Sandown

Today we send out two runners.

Withhold is our first runner of the day and runs in the ‘Edinburgh Gin Boyzlife Handicap’ at Chester for owner Tony Bloom. Today he makes his first apperance on the racecourse as a 9 year old. Although not a winner last season he put in a very strong performance at Goodwod in a Class 2 handicap to finish 2nd as well as finishing 3rd at Newbury in a Class 2 Handicap. Today he is back over 2 miles in a field of 7 runners with a draw of 1. He has cheekpieces applied with Richard Kingscote taking the ride.

Dancing Empress travels to Sandown to make her racecourse debut in the ‘Coral Committed To Safer Gambling British EBF Maiden Stakes’ for owner Fishdance Ltd. She is a three year old filly by Holy Roman Emperor out of a 1 mile 4 winning mare. Dancing Empress is a half sister to Above The Rest a winner of 9 races including a Listed race and Group 3. Dancing Empress makes her debut in a field of 11 runners with a draw of 5. Tom Greatrex takes the ride.
