Two runners split between Newmarket and Kempton

Today we send out two runners between Newmarket and Kempton.

Man Of Eden is our first runner of the day and heads to Newmarket (Rowley) to run in the ‘Price Promise At bet365 Handicap’ for owner D J Deer. Man Of Eden Arrived at Beckhampton at the start of January this year and made his debut for the yard on the 20th January at Newcastle over a mile in which he won. Prior to arriving at Beckhampton he had been in training with John S O’Donoghue in Ireland and had shown promise on his 5 starts with him. Today he makes a step up in trip to 1 mile 2 furlongs in a field of 17 runners. He has been drawn 5 with Trevor Whelan taking the ride.

Magical Merlin travels to Kempton to run in the ‘ Unibet 3 Uniboosts Per Day Handicap (London Sprint Series Qualifier)’ for owners Paul Inglett and Beckhampton Racing. He is a three year old son of Kodiac who had 4 career starts as a two year old and won on his third career start over 6 furlongs at Windsor. After his most recent start at Windsor on the 10th October he was gelded and had a winter break. Today he makes his 3 year old debut over 6 furlongs in a field of 15 runners. He has been drawn 4 with David Probert taking the ride.
