Two runners split between Wolverhampton and Kempton

 In Beckhampton News

Today we have Rumi travelling to Wolverhampton and Her Way travelling to Kempton.

Rumi runs in the ‘Get Your Ladbrokes Daily Odds Boost Novice Stakes’ at Wolverhampton for owner Dr Jamal Ahmadzadeh. Rumi has had two runs so far in which he has shown some promise in both starts. He is a big horse who’s pedigree suggests will be a later type however he will benefit a lot from the experience as he has done from his previous two starts. Today he runs over 1 mile 1 and a half furlong which should hopefully suit him well. The race holds a field of 12 runners with Rain Gauge looking like the obvious threat, although Sea The Shells who makes his racecourse debut looks like he could be one to look out for.

Her Way makes her racecourse debut at Kempton in the ‘Unibet Extra Place Offers Every Day Maiden Stakes (Div II)’. Her Dam won three races at three years old and has produced three winners from three runners. Her Way is the half sister to 7 furlong Listed winner Happy Family. The race has a field of 9 runners and she has been drawn 4. It would be great to see her run a strong race but she will benefit massively from the experience. David Probert takes the ride.
