Today we send Dancing Eagle to Wolverhampton and Persian Royal to Newbury.

Dancing Eagle is our first runner of the day and travels to Wolverhampton to run in the ‘Cazoo Fillies’ Novice Stakes’ for owners Fishdance Ltd. She has had one career start prior to today over a mile in which she finished 8th in a very hot maiden at Newmarket. Crenelle the winner has since been Listed placed twice and Fonteyn the 2nd placed horse now a listed winner as well as finshing 4th in a Group 1 beind Nashwa. Dancing Eagle should have hopefully improved from her previous run and steps up slightly in trip to a mile and 1 furlong. The race has a field of 9 runners and she has been drawn 9. Tom Greatrex takes the ride.

Persian Royal is our second runner of the day and runs in the ‘Christopher Smith Associates Handicap’ for owner D J Deer. He has won his last 2 starts both being over a mile on Good to Firm ground and looks to make it a hatrick today. Today he is back over a mile and on Good to Firm ground but makes a step up in to Class 4 company. The race has a field of 6 runners and he has been drawn 1. Pierre – Louis Jamin takes the ride as well as claiming 3lbs off his back.
