Today we send Stage Show and Withhold to Newbury.

Stage Show is our first runner of the day and makes his racecourse debut in the ‘bet365 EBF Novice Stakes’ over 6 furlongs for owners Brook Farm Bloodstock. He is a two year old gelding by Showcasing and out of a dual winning mare by Shamardal. He was purchased at the Tattersalls Book 1 Sale by Badgers Bloodstock for 110,000 Gns. Today he makes his debut in a field of 11 runners with a draw of 3. There are only two other horses in the race that have been exposed to the racecourse before, but we look forward to learning more about Stage Show today. Trevor Whelan takes the ride.

Withhold runs in the ‘Highclere Castle Gin Cup Stakes’ for owner Tony Bloom. He is a winner of 7 races which included the ‘Gloriously Simple With MansionBet Further Flight Stakes (Listed Race)’, ‘Jockey Club Rose Bowl Stakes (Listed Race)’ ‘Stobart Rail & Civils Northumberland Plate Handicap (Heritage Handicap)’as well as placing 9 times. Today’s race has a field of 8 runners and he has been drawn 6. A visor has been applied and James Doyle takes the ride.
