On Tuesday Scarlet Ruby travelled to Chepstow to run in the ‘Toalsbet 02890321721 Dial -A-Bet Handicap (Div I) for her owner D J Deer. She stepped up in trip to 1 mile 4 from a mile which we thought would be more to her liking and it certainly was. She tracked the leaders and made a challenge 3 furlongs from home, she soon took up the lead and kept on well in the final furlong to be first past the post under Thomas Greatrex.

Yesterday One Day travelled to Bath to run in the ‘British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Median Auction Stakes’ for her owners Andrew Bengough and Mindy Hammond. She took up the lead within the first furlong and made all to stay on nicely winning by a length under Jason Watson . Both horses came out of their races well.

Today we have Conscious running at Sandown in the ‘Ewell Handicap’ for his owner Prince Khalid Abdullah. He is a three year old gelding by Oasis Dream and half brother to Headman. He has had two encouraging  starts in his career so far in which both have been over 1 mile. Today he makes his handicap debut over 7 furlongs in a field of 14 runners with a draw of 3. Ryan Moore takes the ride.
